Can I give you a tip? Create another basic sculpture the shape of the racetrack. Have it slightly higher than the track, and make it invisible. Your kart will race smooth on this rather than the track you have now.

Great start. Controls well and I dig the music. You might want to work on the brakes. They don't work while holding R2, but bring you to an immediate stop when not holding R2. Following this!
