IDK if outré is the right word precisely, but I love that you are using Dreams to create these uncanny scenes with their power to transport the viewer. As you say: liminal! Is this in any way supposed to be set in a particular decade?

Wow, this does look pretty real. It has a nice bright scene. I find the music a bit unsettling though, like it could be the intro to a horror movie. Good job, it's both bright and inviting but unsettling at the same time.
