Also, I would say the game isn't Mm picked yet because of its brevity, simple platforming design, and, yes, the theme (as there are more simpler Mm-pick platform games).

Really love the artstyle and gameplay but had to give up with the boss as just no idea how to damage him? A hint would be nice! 😉

The screams in the lab are very unpleasant, and not in the way that i think you intended. Also, you should stop the player from un-crouching when they are in a small place.

I like the art style and I also think that it deserves an Mm pick or to win a jam.
